Marcia Alesan Dawkins, Ph.D. is a Clinical Assistant Professor at USC Annenberg. In addition to her teaching, Dawkins writes frequently on race, diversity, media, religion, and politics for several academic and mainstream publications. She earned her Ph.D. in communication from USC Annenberg, her master's degrees in humanities from USC and NYU and her bachelor's degrees in communication arts and honors from Villanova.
