Lawrence Schiller: A Life in Photojournalism

During his extraordinary sixty-year career, the photographer, author and filmmaker Lawrence Schiller has time and time identified and chronicled America’s social, cultural and political zeitgeist through his iconic and enduring work.

This USC Annenberg exhibition includes Schiller’s photos of Marilyn Monroe, Muhammad Ali, Martin Luther King, Bobby Kennedy, Ai Weiwei, Walt Disney, The Jackson Five, the Watts Riots, the Olympic Games and much more.

Parents and families are welcome to browse the exhibit while enjoying light refreshments.

Hard hats

Hard Hat Tours of Wallis Annenberg Hall

All USC Annenberg parents and families are invited to join us for a small Trojan Family Weekend reception and sign up for hard hat tours of the new Wallis Annenberg Hall.  

**Space is limited for exclusive Hard Hat Tours of our new building and will be available on a first come, first serve basis. No high heels. Closed-toed shoes are a must if you are planning to attend.

Annenberg Advantage: Media, Economics and Entrepreneurship

Join Professors Gabriel Kahn and Christopher Smith, co-directors of the Media, Economics and Entrepreneurship program, along with USC Annenberg parent and Epix Television Network President and CEO Mark Greenberg in a conversation about the forces shaping the future of television and the challenges and opportunities that presents for the industry’s biggest players.  Professors Smith and Kahn will also discuss how they integrate the teaching of economics and business into the communications, journalism and public relations curriculum. This new initiative, known as M{2e}, illustrates one facet of the true Annenberg Advantage. M{2e} is designed to help students understand the transformation that media industries such as TV, film and news are undergoing and to give them the edge they need in order to become leaders in these fields in the future.

Parking

On Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25 campus parking is offered at a discounted rate for Trojan Family Weekend registered guests. However, parking on campus tends to fill up quickly. Click here for all transportation options to campus.
