Discussion and Booksigning: What it Means to be a Trojan Annenberg Auditorium, 2:00 p.m. | |
Join communication professor Dr. Dan Durbin as he hosts Trojan greats from the 1940s-2000s in a special event celebrating the history and tradition of Trojan football. Confirmed guests include: hero of the 1944 Rose Bowl, Gordon Gray; NFL Hall-of-Fame player Ron Yary; member of the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame, Al Carmichael; 1950s Trojan greats C. R. Roberts and Sam “The Toe” Tsagalakis; members of the 1972 “Greatest College Football Team of All Time” Rod McNeill and Manfred Moore; co-mvp of the 1975 Rose Bowl, J. K. McKay; 1980s Trojans, Tim Green, Jeff Brown and Jeff Bregel and 1990s Trojan Tim Lavin. After a panel discussion, the event will move to the Annenberg East Lobby for a reception and a book signing. Author Steve Travers and former Trojan players will sign copies of the book What it Means to be a Trojan.
