Join the USC Center on Public Diplomacy in welcoming Senior Fellow Benjamin Barber for a discussion of his new book, Consumed: How Markets Corrupt Children, Infantilize Adults, and Swallow Citizens Whole.

Barber is the Gershon and Carol Kekst Professor of Civil Society, and Distinguished University Professor at the University of Maryland.  He is a renowned political theorist and brings an abiding concern for democracy and citizenship to issues of politics, culture and education in America and abroad.
