Dean's Open Forum on politics, war ... and more

In conjunction with the World Press Photo 05 exhibit at USC Annenberg, join Dean Geoffrey Cowan for a discussion on photography and social change with a  focus on the 50th Anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution. Photographs by Erich Lessing, whose documented the 1956 uprising, will be on display. Special guests include USC Nobel Laureate and chemistry professor George Olah, who fled Hungary because of communist rule; actress EvaSzorenyi who chairs the Remember Hungary 1956committee; journalism professor Murray Fromson, who broke the news of the defections of Hungarian athletes during the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne, Australia, and Dr. Bob Filep, former member of the USC Annenberg Faculty. Lunch will be served.
