Visiting experts will join journalists and other guests in a Justice and Journalism conference at the University of Southern California during the first week of June to assess the underlying assumptions, implementation and consequences of drug, crime and incarceration policies over the past 20 years. The conference, Americas Wars on Crime and Drugs, 1982-2002: What Worked? What Failed? What Next, will take place June 3-8, with sessions at USCs Davidson Conference Center and Faculty Center.
