News, Information, and Propaganda in the War on Terrorism

Whos controlling the information about the war on terrorism? Are citizens getting the full story? This years Kenneth Owler Smith Symposium for professionals in media and public relations features a panel discussion with Norman Pattiz, founder and chairman of the Westwood One radio network and a member of the Broadcasting Board of Governors of the United States of America, Brig. Gen. Andrew Davis, director of public affairs for the United States Marine Corps, and Michael Parks, director of USC Annenbergs School of Journalism and a former war correspondent and editor of the Los Angeles Times. The panel will be moderated by journalism professor Cinny Kennard.
