Bioterrorism and Threats to Public Health

Anthrax. AIDS. Ebola. Pulitzer prize-winning science writer Laurie Garrett will provide a sobering look at threats to public health from bioterrorism as well as other new and lethal diseases. Garrett reports for Newsday and is the author of The Coming Plague: Newly Emerging Diseases in a World Out of Balance and Betrayal of Trust: The Collapse of Global Public Health. A book signing follows the discussion.
