The USC student chapter of the Radio-Television News Directors Association presented "Covering Hollywood," a panel discussion on the entertainment news industry, on Tuesday, October 23rd in the Annenberg Auditorium. Attendees learned the inside information about press junkets, award shows, working with publicists, and other hot topics from some of the nation's best-known entertainment reporters. The audience also heard from people who work in the industry about their thoughts on the media's coverage of entertainment. Featured panelists included Pat O'Brien, co-anchor "Access Hollywood;" Sam Rubin, Entertainment Reporter/Anchor "KTLA Morning News;" Dayna Devon, correspondent and weekend anchor of the newsmagazine "Extra;" Lisa Joyner, entertainment reporter from KTTV-TV Fox 11; and Howard Bragman, Chairman/Founder Bragman Nyman Cafarelli public relations.
