Political Communication Strategies from a Pro

Political strategist Stu Spencer shared his thoughts on how the Bush administration is handling the the war against terrorism and whether or not his campaign against the "evil-doers" is effectively being communicated at home and abroad. In the 1960s Spencer helped launch the political career of Ronald Reagan and remained a close adviser to the president known as "The Great Communicator". He has also advised to Presidents George H. & George W. Bush. In this intimate conversation led by former Los Angeles Times political reporter Bill Boyarsky, Spencer also reflected on the qualities that made President Reagan a successful communicator and shared anecdotes and analysis from his nearly 50 years on the front lines of the national political scene.
