This evening marked a new chapter in the history of USC Annenberg. We inaugurated Annenberg Achievement Awards in the fields of communication and journalism, building on the tradition begun by the School of Journalism in 1960. Three distinguished members of the American journalism and communication communities - Otis Chandler, Kathleen Hall Jamieson and Charlayne Hunter-Gault were honored for incomparable contributions to their fields.
