All Annenberg Majors have an advisement requirement. You must meet with an adviser to get D-clearance and/or register for Spring 2012 classes.

Advisement is not required for minors unless they need D-clearance(s). Class standing is based on the number of units COMPLETED and does not include current classes. The Schedule of Classes and your registration time will be available online via myUSC on October 3.

Appointment Schedule: Students can make one appointment if they have a major and minor within Annenberg (i.e. COMM Major & ADV Minor or JOUR Major & COMM Minor).

Scheduling an appointment: Students will schedule their advisement appointment online.  You can only schedule an appointment during your class standing.  A link to schedule your advisement appointment will be sent to your USC e-mail account on the first day you can schedule your appointment, based on class standing.  Please note:  appointments will be verified and canceled if they are not scheduled during the designated appointment slots (see schedule above).

Appointment Policy:  If you are unable to attend your scheduled meeting, use the same link you were originally given to reschedule your appointment.  You must reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance.  If not, you will need to come in on a walk-in day.  If you are more than 10 minutes late, miss your appointment, or cancel your appointment less than 24 hours in advance, you MUST come to the next available walk-in advising day.  No appointment is necessary during the walk-in advisement times.  Hours for walk-in advisement are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on designated days (listed above). Note: Our office will be closed from 12-1 p.m. on walk-in days.  There is no guarantee that you will be able to meet with your adviser on walk-in days.

Walk-in Days for Non-Majors: Non-majors must come in and fill out a non-major D-clearance request form, in order to be considered for all Annenberg D-clearance courses.
